Welcome to Whispers with God

A contemplative welcome to Whispers with God—a space for faith, healing, emotional truth, deeper questions, and quiet return.
Welcome to Whispers with God

Welcome to Whispers with God.

If you are here for the first time, I’m glad you found your way here.

Whispers began as a place for the conversations that don’t always fit neatly anywhere else. Conversations about God and faith, yes, but also about healing, attachment, literature, psychology, Scripture, suffering, beauty, relationships, and the strange complexity of being human.

Because I have never believed that our spiritual lives exist separately from the rest of us.

The questions we carry into prayer are often the same questions we carry into our relationships, our grief, our books, our memories, our choices, and the quiet places inside ourselves that we are still trying to understand.

Whispers with God is a place for those questions.

Why Whispers Exists

I created Whispers because I wanted a place where faith and the rest of being human didn’t have to be separated.

A place where we could talk about God without pretending that life is simple.

Where we could open Scripture and ask difficult questions. Where psychology could help us understand the patterns we carry. Where literature could become a mirror. Where reason and faith could sit at the same table. Where healing could be explored without reducing every human experience to a diagnosis or a five-step solution.

I wanted room for curiosity.

Room to wrestle with something before arriving at an answer.

Room to say, “I don’t know yet. Let’s look closer.”

And above all, room to keep God at the center of that searching.

That is what Whispers has slowly become.

Not a place where every conversation arrives neatly resolved, but a place where we are willing to look honestly, think deeply, remain teachable, and keep returning to God as we do.

What You’ll Find Here

Whispers moves wherever the deeper question leads.

Sometimes that means Scripture, theology, Catholic spirituality, or the questions that arise when faith asks us to think more carefully.

Sometimes it means psychology, attachment, relationships, emotional patterns, healing, identity, or the complicated ways we learn to understand ourselves and one another.

Sometimes we wander into literature, because stories have an extraordinary way of revealing things about human nature that we might otherwise miss.

And sometimes the conversation begins somewhere completely unexpected.

That is part of Whispers too.

The subjects may change, but the thread running through them remains the same: a desire to understand more deeply, to seek what is true, and to bring the whole of our human experience into conversation with God.

There Is No Perfect Place to Begin

You don’t need to know the whole story before you enter it.

You don’t need to listen from the beginning, follow a particular series, or understand every corner of Whispers before something here can belong to you.

Begin with the question that brought you here.

Maybe you are trying to understand something you have lived through.

Maybe a passage of Scripture has been sitting strangely with you.

Maybe you are wrestling with faith.

Maybe a book made you see something differently.

Maybe you are healing, wondering, questioning, learning, or simply curious.

Start there.

Follow what catches your attention. Stay with what makes you think. Leave room for the questions that surprise you along the way.

Whispers was never meant to be traveled in a straight line.

It is an invitation to go a little deeper, wherever you happen to begin.

Stay Close

If something here makes you think, gives you language for something you have been carrying, brings you back to a question you thought you had settled, or simply keeps you company for a little while, then I hope you'll stay.

There will always be another conversation.

Another question worth following.

Another page to turn, passage to sit with, story to wander through, or quiet place where we can listen a little more closely.

You don't have to agree with everything you find here. You don't have to arrive with certainty.

Just come willing to wonder, to seek what is true, and to leave a little room for God to meet you along the way.

I'm glad you're here.

Take care of your heart.
Stay close to God. 💜
